By downloading, installing, or using julie ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

julie is an entertainment app that uses your device's camera to detect cats and generate humorous AI-powered captions representing the cat's "inner thoughts." The captions are generated by artificial intelligence and are entirely fictional. The App does not actually translate cat communication.

Subscriptions

  • The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions (Weekly, Monthly, Annual) that unlock unlimited translations.
  • Free users receive 5 translations per day.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

User Content

Images you capture and translate through the App are uploaded to our servers for AI processing. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process these images solely for the purpose of generating captions. You retain ownership of your images.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security measures.
  • Abuse the free tier by creating multiple accounts to bypass translation limits.
  • Upload images that are illegal, harmful, or violate third-party rights.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated captions are for entertainment purposes only and do not represent actual animal thoughts or behavior. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on the App's output.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
